Julian Alavarez says he remains undecided on his future amid reports that he could leave Manchester City this summer.

The 24-year-old appeared in 54 matches across all competitions last seasons, scoring 19 goals and providing 13 assists. However, when it came to important matches including the FA Cup final, Erling Haaland was picked in the starting lineup by manager Pep Guardiola ahead of Alvarez. The constant snub in key games has forced the Argentine to think about his future.

The former River Plate star is currently in Paris as Argentina compete in the Olympic Games. Speaking to DSports Radio about his future, the attacker said: “I haven’t stopped to think about what I’m going to do. Last season I was one of the players who played the most minutes in the team.

“But it’s true: in the end, in some important games, it’s not pleasant to be left out. I will have time to consider my decision. I haven’t stopped to think things through calmly. Once the Olympic Games are over, I will take the time to reflect on what I want for myself.
