Nakuru firebrand senator Susan Kihika, scores of MPs allied to Deputy President and horde of supporters were on saturday teargassed by the police and prevented from holding a political rally in drumming support for UDA Candidate in upcoming by-elctions in London Ward, Antony Nzuki Wachira
“UDA tear gassed in Nakuru,deep state is in panic mode. Look at the amount of tear gas it’s like they were getting rid of expired stock. We pray for the victory of Nzuki Wachira in the London MCA ward by election on 4 March .” shared Soy MP Caleb Kositany on Twitter
Senator Kihika on her part after altercation tweeted that there is no retreat despite strong and respressive force used by the police
The London Ward seat fell vacant following the passing away of MCA Samuel Karanja Mbugua who succumbed to suspected COVID-19 complications on November 18, 2020.
Other by-elections slated for the same day (March 4) include the election of Matungu MP, members of county assemblies of Huruma, Hell’s Gate, Kiamokama and Kitise/Kithuku Wards.
